retroshark.gamesharklabs.com is operated by GameShark Labs LLC (Lutherville Timonium, MD), the same entity that operates gamesharklabs.com. This page describes how this site collects, uses, and protects information when you visit.

What we collect

Standard server access logs (timestamp, IP, user agent, referrer, request path), retained for security and abuse detection. Vercel Analytics aggregates page-view metrics anonymously. Vercel Speed Insights measures Core Web Vitals from real visits.

We do not run advertising trackers, do not sell visitor data, and do not embed third-party social pixels.

Email you give us

If you join the RetroShark waitlist, we collect the email address you submit and the confirmation that you are 13 or older. The address is stored with Resend (opens in a new tab), our email provider, and used only to tell you about RetroShark. We do not sell it or share it for anyone else’s marketing.

We keep your address until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can ask us to delete your address at any time by emailing privacy@gamesharklabs.com.

Children

RetroShark is not directed to children under 13, and the waitlist form asks you to confirm you are 13 or older. If you believe a child under 13 has given us an email address, write to privacy@gamesharklabs.com and we will delete it.

Cookies

retroshark.gamesharklabs.com does not set any first-party cookies in v1. The Vercel analytics endpoints may set short-lived technical cookies for delivery purposes only.

Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email privacy@gamesharklabs.com and we will answer within 45 days. We will not treat you differently for asking. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

If you are in the EU, the UK, or Switzerland

GameShark Labs LLC is the controller of the data described above. Our legal bases are: legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and working (server logs and aggregate analytics), and your consent for the waitlist email, which you can withdraw at any time by unsubscribing.

We are based in the United States, and our processors (Vercel and Resend) are US companies, so your data is transferred to the US. Those transfers rely on the Standard Contractual Clauses in our agreements with each processor. You can request a copy of the relevant terms.

You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to our processing, and the right to receive your data in a portable form. You also have the right to complain to your local supervisory authority. In the UK that is the Information Commissioner’s Office.
